OK, so the EFP to ME is pretty much useless lmao I dont know anyone thats gonna want to use it to play back audio just to watch lights on it and no 1 is gonna sit and watch the lights on it during an investigation for very long blah hahaha

The fool has it backwards, you need to set the elimination/background noise level before it gets recorded, not afterwards just for the display. With the EFP you'll still get the background noise level recorded, just not displayed. Hell, anyone can hook up a bargraph driver and LEDs to an audio output.

Looks to me like nothing more than a digital VU meter.... No different in function than what's on my mixer and multi-track recorder. Admittedly, though, it sure is a lot more portable.

I just don't see the actually benefit to this, except to line the patent holder's pocket.

Yea Gerry, thats because they use it to play back the audio, not real time, I set it before I start recording, that didnt make sense to me either lol

This subject has been in discussion with another member of your team and myself for the past week now, digital recorders now a days (olympus, sony etc) now have have two heads.

Usually one head recorders can only do one thing at one time whether it be record or playback, not both at the same time.

But certain recorders have two heads where they can do them both simultaneously.








You can plug in a headset into the ear port of the recorder so that you can possibly hear evp's in real time if the specter is willing to speak.

To see if your recorder is capable of this, plug in a headset into the ear port of the recorder and if you can hear your voice through the headphones , it should work.





Buy the way thanks to Mike and Matt for reminding me of his concept that I tried years ago on my old recorder that didnt work, but it did on my new DG's

Yes the newer recorders you can plug headphones into and listen in real time, mine and Matts Sonys do, in which the EFP doesnt work unless you also have 1 of the real time recorders as well connected to it
