Just wanted to say a hello to all of you.
It was nice to meet you at Bobby Mackey's on August 2nd.
I realize I didn't talk too much to everyone and that was because I was too excited about being there! lol
That was my first time there and I was more interested in looking around the place than talking to everyone
but hopefully I shall come back again and do some more talking to all.
I am Tamara Rollins from Lexington but I have lived in Georgetown for 7 years now.
I have been interested in the paranormal since about age 10 when I overheard my uncle telling my mom about
a green glowing mist or ghost following him home one night from a church in Lexington. Then as a young adult, I had a few experiences and I learned of a friendly ghost that used to visit my mom's cousins when they were all young.
I was always drawn towards cemeteries and graveyards and was never scared of them. To me, the places are peaceful and not all spirits choose to just hang around graveyards, I mean, I know I wouldn't.
I know that some spirits that are related to you may be around you and just ride with you to the graves while you put flowers on or visit.
I try to keep in tune with my surroundings as much as I can and am open to the world and beyond.
I had a few personal experiences in a home here in Georgetown and it really made me want to get with a group who understood these experiences and accepted me and liked to Ghost Hunt.
I overheard a lady talking about Waverly Hills one night about a year or two ago at Cub Scouts and I joined in the conversation. That is how I joined GPS/BRR here in Georgetown.
Prior to being in a group, I just went out on my own to places. I am sometimes sensitive to things and therefore, my gut feelings or what I am sensing may play a part in my investigating. I know TAPS are not into that but there are some folks in this world who are legitimate.
I had someone actually saying my name in my ear on several different occasions.
Well, I have said too much already.
Nice to meet everyone!
