This is a place I would also love to see investigated. I attended the academy from January 2006-October 2006, and had several experiences.

-Between 1-3am, if you were sitting in the office of dorm 401, you could see a male's feet in slippers walking through the lobby towards B-wing, as though he were coming inside from smoking a cigarette. All you see is his feet and ankles, and just as he turns towards B-wing, he disappears. The dorm is a girl's dorm NOW, but used to be a guy's dorm.

-Also on B-wing of 401, there is a room that has had the door slammed and shut with the girls inside, the windows opened and closed violently, a bible thrown across the room, and girls waking up feeling like they were being strangled.

-The Health Occupations building is believed to be haunted, from where a young man was killed.

-If you stand outside in the back of dorms 401 and 402 around dawn, and look towards the field, when the mists roll in you can see a soldier, standing at attention. As the mist gets closer to the building, so does the soldier, and he doesn't walk.

-In the same field, you can often hear orders being called, and see flashes of soldiers, if you're standing outside around dawn.

-People have heard chains rattling and footsteps in the ceiling of dorm 401.

There are more stories, these are just some I've experienced and/or been told about. Most are things I've experienced myself.

Oh, I used to stay up at night and talk to the ILA's about hauntings and stuff.. Heheh. I'd purposely be up at dawn to see the soldiers, and be in the office to watch the boy from B-wing. I think it's awesome, but I've always had ghosts around me, my entire life.

I wonder if you are seeing the soldiers in the morning time standing at attention waiting for the reveille call. What kind of uniforms did it look like they were wearing, and do you know if the campus was once a military post or training camp. That does sound interesting.

The campus is on the site of the old Camp Breckenridge. Several of the buildings still stand, and are actually used as classrooms and offices now. At dawn watching the soldiers, I was still waking up without coffee, and didn't really see much of the uniforms, except that they were dark blue.
